About Me
Lisa@cteqpsych.com
I have over 20 years of psychiatric experience. My telehealth practice brings hospital-level expertise and advanced psychopharmacology directly to you from the comfort of your own home.
My initial consultations are active dialogues focused on untangling intricate physical and mental comorbidities, reviewing your medical history, and lab work. I actively collaborate with your primary care physicians, neurologists, and other specialists to ensure your psychiatric care safely aligns with your overall physical health.
My approach combines zero-judgment compassion with a direct, transparent, and intentionally no-nonsense communication style. If you are looking for a seasoned expert who will respect your time, tell you the truth, and partner with you to reclaim stability from the comfort of your own home, we will be a great fit.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me trying to hit my ambitious goal of reading 100 books a year. Key word: trying. I fall short of this goal every single year, but I have some spectacular excuses. Most of that reading time is happily hijacked by traveling, baking an impressive mountain of Christmas cookies, and hanging out with my husband and four grown stepchildren.
I also have a massive soft spot for four-legged friends and will absolutely pause a conversation to pet a dog—even if it belongs to a total stranger. My travel itineraries usually revolve around finding exotic animals to feed. You might be surprised what animals they will let you feed in zoos abroad. The animals are usually very happy to oblige. Sometimes a little too happy, but hey—I still have all my fingers (for now)!
I am proudly married to a 25-year military veteran, and we are pretty much inseparable. He has spent nearly every waking moment since his retirement telling me stories from the “good old days,” so I have truly heard it all. So, when we talk you can rest assured that nothing you say will shock me.
